F.A.Q.

Q: Can I make meals up there ?

A: Yes you can! We have a small kitchenette with two induction hot plates, a sink and small fridge. We also provide saucepans and frying pans, cooking utensils and basic cooking essentials like oil, salt and pepper. If cooking is not your thing, we have provided suggestions for local dine-in and takeaway.

Q: Is breakfast included?

A: Breakfast is only provided by us as an added option. If selected, it will be sourced from local and seasonal ingredients. Sourdough from the local bakery, a selection of locally made toppings, farm fresh eggs, tea and coffee.

Q: Is the treehouse suitable for young children?

A: Children must be supervised by their carer/guardian at all times. Before bringing children to Woodnest, you should consider additional factors such as steep hills and uneven grounds, steep stairs and cliff edges. Young children will need to be assisted when walking up to the treehouse. We do not have high chairs or travel cots.

Q: What is the toilet like? Is it outside?

A:The toilet and shower are inside the treehouse (we know.. can you believe it?!). Once you have arrived in the nest, you will not have to leave, to take care of any of your “business”.

Q: Is walking required to arrive at Woodnest?

A: Yes, and depending on your fitness levels, the walk from the parking place to the treehouses can take 15-30 mins. There is a combination of steel and wooden steps, plus walking on the natural path.

More information is sent via email after booking is complete.
