Woodnest Mountaintops

The mountaintops are the second edition to the woodnest treehouse collection.

These 14m2 luxurious treehouses boast a hand carved bespoke wooden bathtub and a bed that lowers from the ceiling. The towering floor windows gives you breathtaking views of the forest canopy overlooking the majestic Hardanger fjord.

The exterior resembling a pinecone is fashioned with 18,000 pieces of wood shingles, allowing the treehouse to be enveloped into its natural surroundings.

Using the same groundbreaking engineering, the tree is encased with a metal collar which allows the tree to live & breathe freely inside.

  • Mountaintop Treehouses: 2
  • Max capacity: 2 persons
  • Length of hike: 30-45 minutes
  • Wooden hand carved bathtub
  • Bed can be lowered from the ceiling with a click

The journey up to any of our treehouses requires a hike up to the forest. We believe this to be apart of the experience, please be prepared for a steep hike up varied terrain rocks and stairs and forest floor. We recommend 30-45mins. Note in the winter the hike requires snow shoes to which we provide.
